About us.
Panamorph, Inc.
is a privately held company focused on commercializing
manual and robotically controlled anamorphic lenses
that dramatically enhance the performance of all wide screen projection applications.
This includes the next "big thing" in the home theater
industry - converting 16:9 projectors to the 2.35:1 "True
Widescreen"
format for true home cinema. It also includes the
next "big thing" in the commercial and multipurpose
consumer projection industry - converting high
brightness 4:3 projectors to the 16:9 format for the
highest lumen per dollar wide-screen value. Beyond
these new applications, we are also developing channels
into the market where it all started - commercial
cinemas.
Since 2001 Panamorph has become the most recognized
anamorphic lens brand in the digital projection industry
because of our priorities of performance and value.
These aren’t just marketing terms. We can manufacture
any type of lens based on market demand. The type we
decided on, improved upon and ultimately patented
produces the highest image clarity throughout its
designed throw range of any other anamorphic lens.
We are
also endorsed by every level of the projection industry from
projector OEMs that integrate our optics into their
projectors to the home cinema owner knowing with pride
that they have the very best and latest technology.
In 2006 our advanced manufacturing operations have made this quality available for even lower prices
through our U85 lens, promising
anamorphic enhancement to a broader range of market than
ever before. And now our new UH380
horizontal expansion model is bringing Panamorph
multi-aspect ratio, constant height performance to even
larger markets through the largest anamorphic lens
partnership with projector manufacturers in home cinema
history.
